REFUND POLICY

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES — AUTOMOTOR IMPORT S.A.S.

1. Right of withdrawal (distance purchases)
If you purchased through WhatsApp, social media or this site — that is, without being physically at a point of sale — Colombian law gives you 5 business days from receiving the product to withdraw from the purchase, with no need to give a reason (Consumer Statute, Law 1480 of 2011).

To exercise it, the product must be returned in the same condition in which you received it: unused, uninstalled, complete and in its original packaging. The cost of return shipping is borne by the consumer, unless otherwise agreed. We refund your money within 30 calendar days.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to measure or clearly personalized, nor to products that by their nature cannot be returned, under that same law.

2. Statutory warranty
All our products carry the statutory warranty required by Colombian law. If a product has a manufacturing defect, write to us and we will handle it: depending on the case, we repair, replace or refund.

The warranty does not cover normal wear from use, damage from improper installation or by unqualified personnel, damage from accident, impact or misuse, or modifications made to the product.

Warranty period. Lighting: 12 months. Security films and window tint: 5 years. Other product lines: the statutory warranty required by Colombian law.

3. How to request an exchange or a return
Write to us on WhatsApp at +57 318 520 0423 or to gerencia@automotorimport.io. To handle it quickly, have ready:
1. The invoice or order number.
2. Which product it is and how many units.
3. What happened (arrived damaged, wrong item, not working, or you wish to withdraw).
4. Photos or video of the issue, and of the packaging if the problem is transport-related.
5. The city and address where we can collect it, and under whose name.

With that we open your case, give you a number and explain the next steps.

4. Response times
We confirm receipt of your request and give you an answer within 15 business days, as required by law.
